We zijn blij dat we de komst van Franz Ferdinand naar Dour Festival mogen aankondigen!
Onder fans deed het gerucht al een tijdje de ronde: 2012 zou het jaar worden waarin de Schotse band opnieuw zou gaan optreden en een nieuwe plaat uitbrengen. Het viertal uit Glasgow keert na 2 jaar afwezigheid terug om hun grootste hits opnieuw live te spelen. We gaan dat feestelijk vieren op donderdag 12 juli op het podium van de Last Arena!
Momenteel oogt de affiche heel rockgericht, met namen als Franz Ferdinand, Ministry en The Flaming Lips ! Fans van elektro, dubstep, drum’n’bass, reggae, dub, hiphop, rap, metal, hardcore enzovoort… moeten niet wanhopen: het eerste salvo namen lossen we in februari!

We are immensely pleased to announce today that Franz Ferdinand will play Dour Festival 2012!
Rumours have been circulating among fans for some time now that 2012 will see the return of the Scottish group to stage and to stores! The Glaswegian quartet are coming back from a 2 year break and will be playing some of their biggest hits, getting girls dancing and boys singing. To celebrate the occasion, get down to the Last Arena on the 12th July!
The first few names on the bill have all been fairly rock-centric, with the confirmations of Franz Ferdinand, The Flaming Lips and Ministry. But for all the fans of electro, dub step, drum’n’bass, reggae, dub, hip-hop, rap, metal, hardcore and more, don’t panic: the first raft of names will be announced in February!
